"A Home For Her"

HER HOMES HOUSING & RESOURCES launched its campaign "A HOME FOR HER" capital campaign raising money for

HER HOMES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.

 

Our transitional housing community will host up to 100 girls and women with children at a time.  We will provide safe and structured homes for them  to productively complete goals and tasks towards their future. We will implement a structured housing curriculum that will assist them with a start or restart with their lives. Located in Anna Texas Collin County. Serving all surrounding cities.

24-26 month program

 

Young ladies participating in this program are able to set long term career and educational goals along with life skills training necessary for independence. The ultimate goal for our young ladies is self-sufficiency and permanent housing in efforts to break the cycle of homelessness and instability.

We at Her Homes believe every individual should have options in life when becoming successful. When choosing a path in life to take we will provide individuals with love, guidance, understanding and patience as we walk along side them on their journey. As leaders in our community we have to set boundaries based on experience and need. Yes there are programs that service homelessness, however at Her Homes we will dedicate time and patience to gain real results.

Only 11.6% of students who drop out will end up transferring and getting their degrees elsewhere. 30% of students drop out of college after their first year due to not having stable housing. Here at Her Homes, we have developed a program where we want to see the numbers of students going elsewhere like trade programs and other educational institutes, increase their chances at success and have the opportunity to grow and become just as successful as students who attend college.
