Adopt a Diva is an amazing program that was created to be an aid to the motherless girls and young women. Ages 10-17

It was also created to help women who desire to give back to girls with compassion and with the love of a mother. Many women battled grief from losing their mothers and are conquerers. Grief is an emotion you never really get rid of, you learn to cope, live and let go. A mother mentor is not the average mentor. You must have a heart of compassion, understanding, patience and be able to connect with girls emotionally. You must be able to commit to a relationship not just a passion. We are the change makers of the world. We are building relationships, character and healed women.

Our founder Ms. Asha Scott experienced the loss of her mother at 10 years old. Grieving was a very important emotion to understand and cope with. She went through life not understanding grief and faced many challenges with her self-esteem, confidence and self-love. Being an overcomer, she wanted to help many girls with grief support and change many lives by helping them with a different narrative for their story. Adding support systems and life lines.

Adopt a Diva will aid girls with mentoring support through grief, 1on1 outings, free therapy, help with coping in school and resources. Most importantly, a Mother Mentor who will become a huge supporter in their life. We spiritually adopt girls who have loss their mothers and connect them with mentor mothers who will began a lifelong relationship. What began as just a 6 week program, turned into a program we host all year. DBF will host monthly gatherings where we all will fellowship together. Creating a safe space for the girls and mothers to bond, share their experiences, ask for support and have FUN!
